We're adults here. And I honestly believe in the saying: "Do right. Do your best. Treat others as you want to be treated."
So if you're planning on living/posting by that saying, you don't really have to read the rest of what I'm going to put here.
First, the bad news (or maybe this is the good news already
):
- I don't tolerate bullying and discrimination and racism in any form posted on this messageboard or sent to other members using pm. Period.
- I don't tolerate stories about or pictures of animal cruelty and child abuse. The discussions about these topics are important, but this is not the place. (Please see "Keep in Mind" if you want to know why)
- No porn. Duh.
- I don't tolerate people fighting about personal, private problems out in the open or on pm using this messageboard. Get a room, or a counselor, not a messageboard.
- I don't tolerate people stating things here that are simply not true.
Now, the good news:
- I tolerate discussions about politics, environmental problems, stuff like that, as long as it stays a polite conversation.
- Some more good news will follow.
Keep in Mind:
- Most of us visit The Friendly Tomato using a family computer that's also used by their kids. If you think other people don't want their kids to see or read something you're about to post, don't post it!
- We're all here because we share the love for growing, crossing and eating tomatoes.
- What may be acceptable in your country might be controversial in other countries. Think about that before you start talking about things like weapons and drugs.
